Hello and welcome to my blog!

This is where I share sneak peeks with my clients and tidbits of my family through photography. I'm very blessed to be doing what I've always wanted to do... stay at home with my 3 beautiful children and photograph those around me; all with the support of my loving husband. In the meantime, sit back, relax and enjoy a little bit of us and my photography! Oh and I love comments... Let me know you're reading and what you like about it! Mr. Smiley is 3 months old...

Remember the smiling newborn? I did a whole post on just his smiles... Well, he turned 3 months old and you know what that means... I got to photograph him again! Woo-hoo. Let me tell you--he is just as cute! And a little roly-poly at that. I just wanted to squeeze his little legs (in a good way)!

He had a little spell where he was just so tired and konked out, but I still think that sleeping pics at 3 months can be just as cute as those newborn ones. After his little nap, he woke up and we got several more great shots.

Here are some of my favorites!

Gotta love the serious, eye contact, etc. in this one! He was so interested in my camera. Oh and don't you love his hair?

Laughing for mommy...

I had to post this one... This was right when he was getting so sleepy. He had already fallen asleep while he was having a bottle and just couldn't keep his eyes open. So you can tell here that he is doing all he can to concentrate on me.

And then he was out. Passed out cold...

Love me some lashes...

Bear hat still fits!

I love this one!

This is his Halloween costume. He's a caterpillar!

We had to incorporate the puppy basket since that was one of the pics from his newborn session. He is so close to not fitting!

Look at these big eyes!

The fam!

Thank you L Family! Mr. Smiley was a trooper... I'll be in touch when the rest are ready. P.S. I'm so glad that you liked your book--It's gotten a lot of hype since I put it on my blog!

**Be sure to scroll down... Several new posts over the last few days. New holiday card templates, custom photobook and a princess newborn session. Whew! I've been busy and loving every minute of it.

Drum roll please... Introducing... My 2009 Holiday Designs!

I am so excited to announce my new Holiday Cards for 2009. I have been admiring this designer's templates for quite some time now and decided that they would be a perfect fit my clients.

Here is just a simple preview of the 3 galleries... I will be putting these in an online gallery and as your holiday session approaches, you will get to select the perfect design. **Images courtesy original designer.

This first set is called 34th street. The backs are just a gorgeous as the fronts. They can also be made into folded cards.

Next up we have Mistletoe. Just as gorgeous!

Last, but definitely not least... Merry & Bright. How fun are these?

So be sure to keep these designs in mind when selecting that perfect outfit for your session. Maybe they will help you decide what route you want to go.

Memories that last a lifetime...

Have you ever thought of how to contain all the memories that are captured during a session? Well, wonder no longer! A photobook is the perfect way to have many, if not all the images contained in one place from your session. Or if you're a baby planner, a way to capture several images from each of your sessions into a baby's 1st year book.

I recently got a photobook for a client and let me tell you... It is beautiful. It is a hardcover book with the photo cover and then the pages are hinged, therefore they lay flat when the book is open.

Here are some shots of the book. We went with a basic design for this book, that way the images really popped. However, there are many design capabilities!

Let me tell you, these images do not do the book justice too... It is absolutely gorgeous. The feel and then the page thickness really make it a piece of art. Be sure to consider one from your next session or as a collaboration of that first year of sessions. An instant baby book!

**Be sure to scroll down for another post from today. Princess C!

A Princess for the C Family...

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting Princess C. She was such a teeny little thing. And as I always try to prepare the parents, she did exactly the opposite of what they thought she would. You see, they said she sleeps all the time and is really only awake in the middle of the night or to eat. Well, yesterday she wanted to see the world and all that was in it! Which was really no problem because she was still a happy little girl. No fussing really--just bright eyed! So we fed her and fed her, shh'd her, patted her, got the room all warm and finally just rocked her and she was finally down for the count.

She let us do all kind of things with her as you'll see from this sneak...

First off, she has this beautiful bedding that a family friend made. I thought this collage would be a neat little add to the decor to show it off. Oh and check off the booties--they are hand-made!
Look a that face and full lips!

So tiny in my basket.

Then another family friend knitted this blanket. It's so delicate, like Princess C, I thought the picture called for a vintage look.

The new family...

Sisters: Friends for a lifetime!

In Daddy's hands...

Yawn--modeling is hard work!

Mommy and princess...

Thank you C Family for letting me come play with your baby doll... She was just that--a doll! I'll be in touch when the rest of your proofs are ready.
