Hello and welcome to my blog!

This is where I share sneak peeks with my clients and tidbits of my family through photography. I'm very blessed to be doing what I've always wanted to do... stay at home with my 3 beautiful children and photograph those around me; all with the support of my loving husband. In the meantime, sit back, relax and enjoy a little bit of us and my photography! Oh and I love comments... Let me know you're reading and what you like about it! What they are saying...

I thought it might be fun to share some of the emails I've gotten lately. I really enjoy love what I do and to hear your comments makes it even more worthwhile.

Here is what they're saying:
  • The pictures and the canvas are just BEAUTIFUL!!! I can't wait for 'my husband' to see them. Thanks so much!
  • Oh great thanks! Oh my goodness everyone loves them!! Great job!! :)
  • Yes! You did an awesome job.
  • We got the pictures today and they look FABULOUS!!!
  • I hope thing things are going well! We have been keeping up with your work, and continue to be impressed! I can't tell you the number of compliments that we STILL get on his 9 day old photos. We'll definitely have to work together again.
  • We love all of the pictures of C and H that you have posted so far! I can't wait to see more! I wanted so badly to show off the pictures at school to my teacher friends this week, but my school e-mail blocks anything with "blog" or "face book" in the address.
These are just a sampling of what you all have been telling me this past week. I really appreciate it. I'm honored to be chosen as your families' photographer to capture these moments and can't wait until the next session.

Out of touch...

Random blog here...

So this past week, a few of us were challenged to 'leave' Facebook for a week. Just a way to give ourselves time to concentrate on those things that are sometimes neglected or not given as much attention. I have to admit that I was reluctant because I use FB for business purposes too.

Well, today is about half way through our challenge and so far it's going pretty well. I'm kind of feeling out of touch though. LOL! For example, one of my mini baby planners was scheduled to have her baby on Friday--well, I'm sure she had her, but I really don't know any details... Then, another friend's baby is in the hospital getting better to come home, but at this point, I really don't know where she is today... Oh and if anyone's birthday was this weekend--oops! Sorry, I missed writing on your wall.

I guess when I get back on there (this Thursday), I'll probably have several things to catch up on and share... Like Saturday was Caleb's birthday and our friend made him a great cake. It was so fun! And today is our anniversary--12 years! Wow! Am I really old enough to have been married for that long? I guess so!

Well, I better get back to work... Sorry, but this will be a picture-less post! I am behind on proofing, need to place a couple orders, make a few one year books and have a wedding coming up on Friday. Woo! A wedding... For the bridal I did last weekend. Can't wait! I'm sure it'll be beautiful. Plus I'll get to share the sneak peek soon in addition to the bridals too.

Have a great week!

**Couple more things real quick... Still looking for Senior Reps--contact me soon! Holiday Mini Sessions are almost full--don't miss out!

Time for school...

Wow! Summer is over (well, not temperature wise), but summer vacation is over. I cannot believe it! I think what I can't believe more than that is that I have a 3rd grader and a kindergartener. Wow! My girls are getting so big... I still remember bringing them home from the hospital.

Here is how our morning went...

My school girls!

Haidyn's 1st day of Kindergarten...

Maddie's 1st day of 3rd grade...

Going into the classroom.

So pretty!

My three kiddos!

Ready for some fun stuff!

Going into her classroom...

Gorgeous girl!

Hard at work already!

Girls--I hope you have a fantastic 1st day of school. I can't wait to see what you learn and watch you grow over this next year. I love you two! ~Mommy

Beautiful Bride-to-Be...

Today I met up with a beautiful bride-to-be for a really quick bridal session. You see, she's getting married in two weeks! It'll be here before we know it.

So, she had seen some images in a Bridal magazine and wanted to recreate them. Well, a little over a year ago I met a great client that had just the place to do the pictures. And thankfully, she was more than willing to let us come out.

Just wait until you see what we got...

NUH-UH-UH!

Sorry--no sneak peek just yet! We can't do that... Hehe! You'll have to wait 2 more weeks to see what we got. We can't go ruining a beautiful surprise for the groom.

Thank you Mrs. S-to-Be! We got some gorgeous stuff and I can't wait to see what you decide to display at your wedding. And thank you O Family for letting us come out and use your place. We really appreciate it and are even more appreciative of how accomodating you were. Thank you so much!

Pure sweetness...

She is 6 days old and so precious. Sometimes week old babies can be a challenge... They usually hit a growth spurt and would prefer to eat than sleep. Well, Miss P was the exception. She was an awesome model. Slept through almost everything we did, woke once, ate a little and was out again. Then she had some awake time at the end while we did some family pics on their bed. Perfection!

See for yourself...

Isn't she precious? Thank you S family! I enjoyed our session and hope you enjoy the sneak peek--well, the abundant share of pics (not really a sneak peek). LOL! There were just too many good ones to not share. I'll be in touch soon.

One of the most fun sessions...

This past weekend, I met up with one of my baby planner's families for an extended family shoot. We met bright and early at Harry Myers and then headed over to the Arboretum once they were open. Let me tell you, when you're one person (like me) and you know you have a session coming up with 12 people, you can get a little nervous. Well, this family did everything, but make me nervous. By the end of the session we were cracking up. **I can't show all of the pics that were making us laugh, but I'll stick one in there for fun of the 'boys'.

Check them out!

What a session! It definitely was good that everyone was so much fun--I think by the time we finished temperatures were approaching 100. We were just slightly hot and sweaty by the time it was all over with. Enjoy--I'll be in touch soon when the rest are ready!
